We will be moving our second DS group from Monday to Friday night with our newest officer Tofu leading the way and Lazy backing him up. As usual you still must be properly geared and know the fights or you will be asked to leave (or just flat out removed.) Events are posted on the calendar and as usual, sign up early to reserve a spot.
Also, remember DS will be going to a 30% debuff as of today.

With the return of one of our most beloved healers, we are excited to start back on DS progression. Raid time is Tues/Wed night 7p server time and you need to sign up early on the calendar to make sure you have your spot. You need to be geared and know the first 6 heroic fights. As we move forward we will need to be more selective of where we place our raiders, We will not be explaining or teaching these fights, please do your homework and make sure your numbers are there so we can finish this up!
Monday night group, please watch videos for heroic Morchok, Yorshaj, and Ultraxion (they are on website forums.) These will be the first 3 heroic bosses we will down.
As usual, first spots will go to returning raiders and raid rating does apply, it is your responsibility to read about this on the website and understand what is expected for raid. They can be found in the homepage navigation link or here:
This is also a good way to have a solid spot for a team when MoP releases. :)

We are now forming our raid team for Beta MoP. If you have beta access and would like to be a part of our test team, please let Bartmann know via the website or in-game mail. I would like a response by June 24th so that we may get a date set and start raiding by the first week of July. You will need to have a max level geared character, either premade or transfer of your current toon. Please pick the role you plan to raid with upon release. Also please let us know what times would be best, make sure to leave options as not everyone will have the same preferred time.

In our continued effort to get over 2000 guild achievement points, we need to do some older heroic content and are looking for a few good raiders to help. You can look at the guild achievements we have not yet done under 'Dungeons and Raids' for more info. we will be starting with the oldest first and working up from there with the first being Ruby Sanctum. If you are interested, please post a comment to this article or send in game mail to Bartmann and let me know what days/times you can go. We are looking for 10 solid raiders.

As more people are receiving the beta access to Mists of Pandaria, we have setup on the 'Lost Isles' server. The guild there is also 'The Alliance'. If you don't find anyone online then come back to live KJ server and see if an officer is online, we will log over and get you an invite. As more bugs are worked out, we will begin running instances and raids to get a head start on release.
We will also be creating a forum soon for guildes only to see so everyone can post their Battletag ID. This will help stay in touch with people playing different games (like StarCraft or Diablo) and give more availability for everyone. Good luck on getting your access and see you online! :)

We currently have a little over 1600 achievement points and our goal is to reach 2000. We will be scheduling various events to help reach this but one thing we will need to work on is pvp. We are not going to become a pvp guild and these events will not interfere with raids but we are going to start a RBG team and work on some of the pvp achievements. If you are interested in leading a pvp team (which means putting in some leg work to help recruit and form the team), then please contact Bartmann vis in-game mail and we will talk in more detail. In the meantime, please watch the calendar as we put down some events which will get us to 2000!!!!!
Also, Grats to Raid Team 2 for their first full clear. Time to get some achievements out of the way and people geared up so we can push to hardmodes. The next two weeks will be working on meta achievements and then we will move into heroic Morchok and Ultraxion.
Firelands weekly raid has found a home. We will be doing the staff items run on Friday at 8pm server time and need regular people. For this group we will be working towards achievements and heroics. Once we are 6/7 with heroics, we will begin farming heroic Rag for the mount. The idea is to have 10 guildes so we can get everyone the mount as it is 100% drop rate on heroic. Please contact Bartmann if you are interested in being on this team.

In just a couple of days, the guild Ironman challenge will start. On March 1st you can start your quest to try and become the guild's first Ironman Champion. The event is hosted by Skeets and all the information can be found in the guild forums 'contests' or just follow this link. It starts March 1st.
We have also changed the rank system and re-arranged our guild bank with the addition of our 8th tab. Please make sure you read the bank tabs in-game the next time you visit the guild bank.
Last note is for Raid Team 1 - remember tonight is your new raid night, please be online and ready at 6:45pm server time tonight.

A big thanks to Skeets for not only getting us more than one of the individual requirements and the 'Classy Dwarves' achievement but also finishing up the meta achievement for 'Stay Classy.' We are now at 1555 achievement points and soon will have our 8th bank tab, watch for an overhaul of the guild bank. Make sure to read the info on each tab when it is updated.
We need to get a set group that wants to run Firelands weekly. The staff items are taken but we will be doing some hard modes and many achievements to work on the meta for the firelands mount. If you are interested in being the next in line for the staff, let us know in your reply. This run will be around 11pm server time and the date has not been set. We will have a forum, if you are interested please reply to it with your character you will use and days you can go. The forum can be found here.
Last note. Skeets is also leading a challenge for the top guild Ironman. It is under the contest forums or you can follow this link. The rules are posted and you can sign up there as well. See if you are truly a talented player.......or not :)

Raid team 1 and 2 have been set. below are links to the threads with details and sign ups. Raid Team 1 - You need to read this too, your days have also changed. With regular full clears and higher geared alts, we are starting our raid team 2 this week. Our plan is the following: Raid team 1 will still run Tuesday nights - regular time. This group is for heroic mode progression and Tuesday will be solely used for heroic bosses. Raid team 1 will then finish up any bosses left on Monday at 7pm server time. Raid Team 2 will run on Wednesday at 7pm server time and it will consist of alts and people who can not make times for Raid team 1. This will be a full clear, you still must be properly geared and know the fights.
We are also working on a regular group for Firelands. We still have some people working on the staff and might have some new people interested in it and achievements / heroic modes. If we can get a reguler group each week to run this, we can knock all of these out a lot quicker. It makes it much faster when we do not have to explain achievements or heroic fights each week. We usually run it after DS Tuesday or Wednesday and finish in about a couple of hours. If you can make this and would like to get a spot, send an in-game mail to an officer.

Straight from spine onto Deathwing. It did not take long at all to complete the last battle. After about 5 tries, the dragon is no longer! Great job to the whole raid team and look forward to starting heroic modes next week. Please study the forums and learn all of the fights!
Also, Congratulations to Auby, the newest officer of The Alliance. Looking forward to good things coming.

A nice, clean one shot on Spine of Deathwing and just one more to go. With one more fight to go, everyone needs to start reading up on heroic bosses. we will begin immdeiately the following week. I will get the first few bosses in forums this week. Thanks and a Great job done by all!

We are currently forming a second raid group and are looking for your input on dates and times. This will be in conjunction with some of our raiders from team 1 so we will not be able to overlap or cross times. If you are interested in getting on this raid team, Follow this link and look at the thread for Raid Team 2. Please give your input on dates and times you would be available for the raid. We ask that you give more than one time slot so we can try to accomidate as many ppl as possible. We will not be able to meet everyones needs but hopefully between the two groups, we can satisfy both teams needs.
It is not decided on if this will be a 10 or 25m group. Time is a consideratioin and a 25m group does take much longer to complete. With that being said, if most want to do a 25m, then so be it. We will make a decision on the times of group 2 within the next couple of weeks. Please respond by then. Make sure to put the toon you will be running on also so we will know what classes/roles we have.

We are getting close! With less than 1,700 fish left, we are asking that guildes try to fish one of these types of fish: Lavascale Catfish, Highland Guppy, and Fathom Eels. They can be fished in most of the new cataclysm areas. You can place fish in Guild Bank tab 4 or 5.
Help get us to 10,000!

It is that time of the year again. Time to wrap up the coal and pass it out. For those of you working on your 'It's been a long, strange trip' achievement, make sure you look on the calendar and in guild chat for some help. Many are currently working on these achievements.
Watch for the fishing eveny to be posted on the calendar this week. We will be doing it in one of four locations to help catch fish for our seafood feast when we get there, we have aobut 2,500 fish to go! Make sure to help out when you can and Happy Holidays!

We are getting close. We need everyone to pitch in and help finish up the fishing achievement for the guild. This will give everyone the ability to learn the seafood feast receipe for +90 food buffs. We will also be giving away 10 free receipes among all that participated. You can fish from any pool or debries aronud Azeroth, Northrend, or Outlands. Let us know what you caught in the process!!
We need Highland Guppies, Lavascale Catfish, and Fathom Eels for the feast. Highland Guppies can be caught in pools in Twilight Highlands. Lavascale catfish are caught in Uldum or Deepholm, they can also be caught in various cata dungeons. Fathom Eels are caught in Tol Borad, Vashj'ir and Uldum. Please place what you catch in the guild bank in tab 5 or 6. This will make sure we have the feasts once we get the receipe.

Raiders - Make sure you know your role and the boss fights for the first 4 bosses in DS. We will be asking questions before we send invites for the next couple of weeks.
Darkmoon Faire will be here this weekend. make sure you check it out while it is in town. There are a LOT of new things to do as well as mounts, pets, and heirloom items.
Word is that they may release the shatter and transmutate receipes this week also, let's hope!

Patch 4.3 is finally upon us and we will be spending the first week getting familiar with it. We will be doing Firelands this Tuesday and probably the week after as well. After that time, Dragon Soul will become our new main raid. Make sure you are running heroics and doing the new 'Looking For Raid' finder to be getting familiar. The LFR lockout will not affect your main 10m/25m lockout.

A very happy Thanksgiving wish from The Alliance!
Pilgrim festival is all around Azeroth and now is the time to work on your cooking skills if you are not maxxed. Mats are cheap and cooking is quick, just visit one of the trainers at the festival outside any major city. Also, stay tuned for another attempt at guild race and fishing event with a little twist. See you there!
